

David Theodoro, MD
Co-Founder
David A. Theodoro is a Co-Founder of Recorded Health, Inc. As a healthcare innovator and leader, his mission for Recorded Health is to empower patients through an AI-powered digital platform that enhances personal health management and communication.
David has 28 years of experience developing and growing large cardiovascular delivery platforms. He currently serves as Chief of Cardiovascular Surgery at St. Dominic Hospital and board member of Mississippi Heart and Vascular Institute. Previously, David served as Chairman of SSM Heart and Vascular Institute, St.Louis. He was also a founding member and served as Chairman of Gateway Quality Physicians Alliance, an SSM Health sponsored Clinically Integrated Network.
David co-founded PotentiaMetrics, Inc. in 2010, helping to develop a predictive analytics platform, MyCancerJourney, that supports and facilitates personalized medicine and value-based care efforts for major healthcare payers in the U.S. and internationally.
Additionally, David serves on the Medical Advisory Board for Nanowear, Inc., helping guide the growth of textile-based, biometric nanosensor technology and associated AI-based data algorithms. He is also a Co-Founder and served as Chief Medical Officer of Global Medical and Surgical Robotics, LLC, providing consulting and training for robotic and minimally invasive surgery programs.
Shahram Rahimi, PhD
Co-Founder
Shahram Rahimi is a Co-Founder of Recorded Health and is the Gloria & Douglas Marchant Endowed Chair Professor and Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Mississippi State University. He is also the incoming Department Head of Computer Science at The University of Alabama and serves as Chief Advisor to the Alabama Cyber Institute. Before this, he was Professor and Chair of the Department of Computer Science at Southern Illinois University.

Dr. Rahimi has consulted for NASA and IBM and is recognized as an expert in artificial intelligence. He has published over 280 peer-reviewed articles and holds several patents, with more pending. Dr. Rahimi has served as Editor-in-Chief for two major AI journals and is involved with the editorial boards of several others.

He has advised numerous federal task forces on predictive analytics for policy and defense, and his hybrid game theory system, Foresight, is widely used as a decision support tool in foreign policy. Notably, he led the development of EmTime/Symphony, an intelligent algorithm for emergency room staffing, which is now utilized in over 1,000 emergency departments nationwide and was recognized as one of the top 10 AI healthcare technologies by HealthTech magazine in 2018.
Over the past two decades, Dr. Rahimi has organized 15 conferences on Computational Intelligence and multi-agent systems and has been the principal investigator for over $25 million in federally and industry-funded research projects. His extensive expertise in AI and healthcare technology significantly contributes to Recorded Health’s mission of empowering patients and transforming healthcare delivery.


Sean Bozorgzad, MD
Co-Founder
Sean Bozorgzad is a Co-Founder of Recorded Health. He comes from a diverse background that spans emergency medicine, data science, healthcare leadership, and software development.
Sean operates at the nexus of computer science and medicine. He is a healthcare leader with a passion for computer science. He is the co-founder and CEO of Potentia Analytics, a technology company with innovative solutions designed to improve operational efficiency in healthcare and other industries by utilizing the latest advances in AI and computational science.
He is dedicated to improving healthcare operations by leveraging artificial intelligence, machine learning, and the latest advancements in data science and technology.
Sean previously served as the Medical Director of the Emergency Department at Envision Healthcare from June 2009 to October 2018, where he played a key role in improving emergency care services. He also contributed to the field as a faculty member at Southern Illinois University, expanding his expertise in both medical practice and leadership.
Lamar Mckay
Co-Founder
Lamar McKay is a Co-Founder of Recorded Health. Lamar is a seasoned business leader with over 40 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He applies his extensive leadership background to drive innovation in healthcare technology.
In addition, Lamar serves as the Non-Executive Chair of the Board at APA Corporation, bringing a wealth of industry knowledge and a global perspective to the company.
Lamar’s distinguished career is primarily defined by his time at BP p.l.c., where he held numerous senior leadership roles over his four-decade tenure. As Chief Transition Officer, he played a key role in managing organizational and strategic changes during a critical period of transformation for BP. He also served as Deputy Chief Executive Officer, where he was instrumental in guiding BP’s global strategy and aligning the company’s diverse business units.
As Chief Executive of BP’s Worldwide Upstream Business, Lamar oversaw BP’s global exploration, production, and development operations, driving efficiencies and innovation across BP’s upstream portfolio. He also served as Chair and President of BP America, where he led BP’s North American operations, managing stakeholder relationships and ensuring the company’s performance in the region.
With his deep industry expertise and leadership experience, Lamar continues to provide valuable guidance to both APA Corporation and Recorded Health, driving sustainable growth, operational excellence, and long-term shareholder value.
